After graduating in geology (ULg) and archaeology (UCL), Simon Jusseret completed a PhD in geoarchaeology supervised by J. Driessen and C. Baeteman (RISNB) (Neolithic and Bronze Age coastal landscapes in Crete: a geoarchaeological approach). He is currently F.R.S.-FNRS postdoctoral researcher at UCL and member of Aegis as well as of the ARC ‘A World in Crisis?’ and a visiting researcher in the Department of Geography at Durham University (UK).
At Sissi, he supervises excavations in Zones 6 and 7 and also acts as a field director for the UCL team at Pyla-Kokkinokremos (Cyprus).
