Romain Machavoine is a graduate student in Greek Archaeology at the University of Paris IV-Sorbonne, with a master’s thesis on funerary practices and architecture in Hellenistic and Roman Crete. He excavated in France as well as in Greece (Dreros, Delphi, Anavlochos) and is a member of the Anavlochos’ team since 2012.
