I am Ilaria Caloi and I am a pottery specialist. Since 2000 I have been working on Crete, where I acquired excellent expertise in Minoan pottery during my collaboration with the Italian Archaeological School at Athens (Phaistos, Kamilari, Ayia Triada), the French School at Athens (Malia, Dreros) and the Université Catholique de Louvain (Sissi). I have obtained my Degree in Aegean Archaeology at the Ca’ Foscari University of Venice (2003), but after that I have carried out my research activities abroad (Athens, Bristol, Strasbourg, Louvain-la-Neuve, Cincinnati) and in other Italian universities (PhD in Florence, 2010). I am currently honorary fellow at the Ca’ Foscari University of Venice and a member of the AEGIS group at the Université Catholique de Louvain, where I had a prestigious Marie Curie-Fonds Speciaux de la Recherche fellowship (2013-2015).
