Hannah Joris did an MFA in Jewelry & Corpus at Konstfack, University College of Arts, Crafts and Design (Stockholm, Sweden) after completing a BFA at the MAD-Faculty (Belgium). In 2013 Hannah completed her PhD in Arts, entitled “Via the body.
A research on the expression of the human condition through body fragmentation – jewelry art as contemporary relics” (KULeuven – UHasselt – MAD-Faculty, Belgium). Her works—drawings, objects and jewelry—have been exhibited internationally.
Hannah’s jewelry is represented by Gallery Caroline Van Hoek, Brussels. Since 2006 she has been drawing for excavations in Egypt, Turkey, Crete and Cyprus.
