Emiline Spérandio obtained an MA in Archaeology at the Université de Provence Aix-Marseille I in 2010 and then worked several years for the archaeological service in France (Fréjus, Aix-en-Provence, Martigues, Centre Archéologique du Var in Toulon).

Since 2013 she is associated with the UMR 7268 Anthropologie Bioculturelle (ADES, Marseille, France) where she takes care of the Ostéothèques SRA-PACA / UMR 7268 and is involved in fieldwork focusing on forensic archaeology.

For this she recently added a master in biological anthropology again at Marseilles.
