Isabelle Crevecoeur (Ph.D. 2006, Université Bordeaux 1 and Katholieke Universiteit Leuven) is a researcher of the CNRS in France (UMR 5199 PACEA, Université de Bordeaux). Her research interests include palaeo-anthropological and bio-archaeological studies of Late Pleistocene fossil specimens and Early Holocene populations from Europe and Africa.

At Sissi, she is member of the physical anthropologist team excavating the burial area of the Bouffos (Zone 1).
