Julie-Anne Bouchard-Perron holds a PhD in archaeology from the University of Nottingham. She has been working as an archaeobotanist and an environmental archaeologist on several projects in the Aegean, Britain, Spain, and Canada. Since 2017 she has been supervising the collection and processing of samples for environmental analysis at Sissi and studying the carbonised plant remains they contained.
