Ophélie Mouthuy studied Classics as well as archaeology at UCLouvain. She is currently a F.R.S.-FNRS Research Fellow under the supervision of Prof. J. Driessen (UCL) and member of Aegis and the ARC “A world in Crisis”.
Her PhD dissertation focusses on a multidisciplinary approach of the Linear B deposit of the Northern Entrance Passage at Knossos.
She has participed in several archaeological excavations and prospections in Belgium (Liberchies) and Crete (Dreros, Sissi, Anavlochos).
At Sissi, Ophelie supervises excavations in zone 15, the southern part of the Court of the Central Court Building.
